This policy explains how I handle personal data collected through this website (msoccupationaltherapy.com). I'm Mabel Sim, a paediatric occupational therapist in Singapore.
What I collect
- Anything you send me when you email info@risesingapore.com or mabelsimoccupationaltherapy@gmail.com, or message me on Instagram, such as your name, email address and what you write.
- Basic technical data. This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Like most websites, the company that hosts it (Cloudflare) may record technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.
This website has no sign-up form and doesn't collect email addresses itself. I don't collect information about children, and this website is not a place to send health or case details. Please don't include them in emails or messages to me.
Why I collect it
Your message and contact details are used only to reply to you. I don't sell your data.
Who handles your data
Emails to info@risesingapore.com go to the inbox of Rise Kids and Teens, which manages that mailbox. Rise's admin team can read messages sent there, and will refer them to me where relevant. Emails to mabelsimoccupationaltherapy@gmail.com are handled by Gmail (Google), and Instagram messages by Instagram (Meta); the servers of both may be outside Singapore, so your data may be transferred overseas. Instagram's own policy is here. If you message Rise on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by Rise and by WhatsApp (Meta). The website itself is hosted by Cloudflare. I take reasonable steps to make sure such providers protect your data to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
How long I keep it
I keep my own copies of messages only as long as needed to reply and follow up. You can ask me to delete a message I hold at any time.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites and apps, including Instagram, Medium, WhatsApp, Google Maps and professional bodies. They have their own privacy policies and I'm not responsible for how they handle your data.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it.
